Elva is a 4L dry, low-footprint, commercial cordless battery-operated vacuum cleaner used where mains power is unavailable. Other applications are daytime cleaning, where noise from the vacuum cleaner is a concern.

It has an impressive 70 minutes of run times on a single-fully charged battery set. It is light, weighing just 5.7kg, but the weight distribution makes it very comfortable to wear. It has excellent performance, producing full power all the time. There’s no need to mess around with speed switching; just vacuum as you go. Use it once, and you’ll never look back.

Power Source

Elva uses two high-energy Li-ion 18 V d.c battery packs with 378 Wh of energy to achieve the runtime. The power produced can also drive the TK 284 turbo brush if needed.

The battery packs are conveniently fitted to the vacuum cleaner using a “hot shoe” design similar to power tools. Each battery pack has a 4-level “fuel gauge” indicator to show the “state of charge.” Press the battery button to read the “state of charge.” Each battery pack has a built-in battery management system with single-cell monitoring to protect the battery from overcharging, over-temperature, over-current, and electrical short circuits.

Vacuum Motor

Elva uses a 36 V d.c. 300 W high-efficiency, long life, brushed motor to deliver high airflow and maximum vacuuming performance without the risk of downtime from electronic components.

Battery Charger

The dual port pulse current rapid charger recharges two flat batteries in 105 minutes. Pulse charging technology assists in transferring power and preserving battery life.

The charger fan cools the battery pack when charging, reducing charging time and increasing user productivity. The digital power display indicates the battery and charging status, and the melody tone alert indicates when charging commences and has been completed. The intelligent battery and charger communication system provides over-discharge protection, overheat protection, and overload protection functions to protect the battery.

Ergonomics, Frame, and Harness

The frame construction uses lightweight impact-grade plastics. The padding has endurance sweat guard tough fabric covering, resilient foam padding, loop over-frame contoured, wide, comfort shoulder pads, vertical and laterally adjustable sternum strap, Hook and Loop zip-up back pad, and extra wide double stretch elastic hook and loop waist padding with onboard tool holders. Fitting of all replacement padding is tools-free.
