How to properly clean the Advantage Motor Filter?
1) Tap out any loose dust.
2) Rinse the filter with warm water until the rinse water is clear.
3) To assist filter dust removal, coat all the filter pleats with hand soap and let it soak for a few minutes.
4) Rinse the filter with warm water until the rinse water is clear and all soap bubbles are fully removed.
5) After cleaning results. The filter should pass light as shown below.
6) Allow the filter to thoroughly dry. Drying can be up to 7 days on cold damp days.
7) Filters are damaged when,
- The pleats are buckled.
- The pleats are furry.
- Dust has penetrated through the material.

Filter pleats have been stretched from dust overloading

8) Dust Leaking filters will reduce the vacuum motor life and lead to premature motor failure.
